reason lacks any built-in resonator effects, but as usual, latent in those device racks lies the capability to build them. there are two general approaches to building resonators - using delay or comb units, and here is a prototype effects unit using the delay approach:

while the convenience knobs on the device are handy enough, you will probably also want to manually set the resonator values internally by adjusting the delay ms. obviously the 'chord' aspect of this device works a lot better if the ratios between the resonator values coincide with the ratios of musical interval frequencies. use this handy chart if you want to get technical.
